Soul Scribes: Happy Birthday to Me!
Posted On 05/12/2008 05:58:38

Today is my birthday!  Starting a blog is a cool way to celebrate the beginning of a new year.

What do I want to create for myself in this year?  Many things pop into mind instantly:

1,  A most wonderful, awesome, fantabulous, sold-out, unbelievably electric Journal Conference next month.

2.  New office space on the west side of town that will be my permanent home for the remainder of my career. I saw three great buildings over the weekend and am looking forward to getting more info on all of them.  I'm especially interested in the condominiumized building.  The idea of a 15-yr mortgage, so I'd own it outright at retirement, is a great incentive.

3.  Completion of my novel!  I'm so excited to be back in a writing critique group, and I really think it will provide me the support and structure I need to actually finish.

4.  The Certified Journal Facilitator program firmly established and launched with my first 8 students preparing to graduate, and a new class of 12 in the fall and maybe another 12 next spring in process.

5.  A new training, probably Journal Therapy for Mood Disorders, for Cross Country Education.

6.  Finish the new book on journal writing and get it out into the world.

7.  Continue radical self-care through following my practices that lead to healthy mind, body, spirit, relationships and right actions.

Happy birthday to ME!
