I am a freelance writer with business qualifications and experience. It goes like this ... I am a qualified accountant and have been a company director and business owner. Then I was a university lecturer, business coach and corporate trainer for around 11 years. Then I turned to writing ... I was a newspaper reporter. Then I was editor and then publisher (owner) of a national, monthly magazine for several years. I have published 16 books - 9 I wrote myself. * 13 of these books were distributed to book stores in 3 countries, and * 3 of the books are published on the SmashWords website as ebooks.

They told me that when I got old, I´d lose my mind. What they didn´t tell me was that I wouldn´t miss it much. Somerset Maugham Life is a series of opportunities, neatly disguised as problems.

I'm a Kiwi (NZer) now living in England. I have experienced life as an accountant, credit manager, company director, shepherd, scrub-cutter, tree pruner, freezing worker, plastics factory worker, saxophonist, guitarist, singer, army driver, tour bus driver, stage and television actor, builder, lecturer, facilitator for men’s groups, AIDS workshop co-facilitator, corporate trainer, reporter, editor, publisher and (in the Australian bush) as a barman, horse and camel trekker and stock-whip teacher.
