I've lost both of my parents over the last ten years and have felt a great loss, but I have been blessed and comforted by my father appearing in my dreams on several ocassions, to share great wisdom with me. My mother had never made such an appearance, until one night several years ago, when she appeared to tell me something important. I took her advice very seriously, as this was the only time she had visited with a message. In the dream, she showed me a window and said, "Take your pictures and write the story of your life." I took her wise advice deeply to heart and am working on writing the story of my life, along with pictures! I can't think of a better way to celebrate one's life!

I am so excited for you...we too are writing the story of our lives while living the lives we have always dreamed about...not quite turning out like the dream but we are learning from every turn in our roads.

How inspiring Valerie - and how comforting too.  My father has recently been appearing to me in my dreams - telling me to slow down and to get my health checked out.  Needless to say, I'm obeying!  Will look forward to hearing how your wonderful project progresses.....Janexx

Dear Valerie,    I truly believe that writing our healing stories is a delicate process and for me it is best done in a group that is supportive and understands the layering of story.    One of my favorite genres is to read spiritual memoirs; my list of memoirs grows and grows.  I am always more than happy to share the list with others who seek styles and mentors who have paved the way.   Many blessings and Kindest Regards.  Lindy

MisLindy:

I was reading your story and how you lost your parents. I am lucky I still have mine with me but I grew up mostly with my grandparents. When my grandmother passed unexpectedly I took it as something personal. I admit I was full of rage against everything and that's when I decided to leave my country and move to the US. Time heals and life always give us the signs we need. It was my own grandmother the one giving me those signs. I could feel her presence very often. She has warned me if I am sick and sometimes slides on my bed at night. The ones we love on earth will always be with us. Love is one of those amazing things that doesn't stop existing although it may transforms, but is always love and always keep us close to those we have shared our lives with.

Blessings,

Allia
