My Projects

I am trying to help underprivileged kids realize their potential. I have some ideas I am exploring with art and through the service tours I design. I would really like to work with other kindred souls on this project. Any takers?

My Passions

Life in all it's beautiful manifestations, humor, laughter, art of every kind, writing, poetry, profound films, love, exotic food, beauty and spirit, trees and woods, the sea and lakes, birds of every hue, flowers...It goes on and my work which lets me feature all my passions and show them off to other people.

Personal Statement

I am on a journey of self discovery and I realize the more I travel through LIFE the more I discover about MYSELF!

About Me

I am an ageless Goddess, or I would like to be...Who wouldn't? On this dimension, I am forty something and vary between feeling 16 and about a 100. No seriously, I don't think about my age at all, just how much fun life is. I love life and living even though at times it doesn't all go good. I regard my time here on Earth as precious and a gift. It is utterly beautiful and intoxicating with it's diversity, it's richness and it's vibrancy. I am into nature big time. Trees of any kind are my favorite and I feel utterly peaceful and harmonious with them around. I am the mother of 2 creative and sensitive souls who chose me to be their mother. I love to write, paint and laugh.

My Purpose in Life

I am trying to discover who I really AM and BE myself to my fullest potential with no limitations, excuses and barriers. It has taken me 40 something years to discover that I AM Happiest when I am Being MYSELF in every way. I am also trying to discover WHY I am here and I do have a glimmer that I am here to SEEK and to GIVE LOVE

My Work in the World

Apart from being a Goddess, seriously sometimes I feel I need to be an Indian Goddess with at least 10 arms in order to accomplish everything I need to... But I make do with just 2 and a lot of multi tasking. I own a travel business and I love to design special interest tours such as yoga and meditation, spiritual journeys, service journeys, cooking and wine tasting, art and crafts tours, safaris and eco tours and music tours to all parts of the world. My work allows me to use my creativity and imagination and help people to find theirs and have a good time but also do good where ever they go.

Hi Anita,
Your work fascinates me every time I read your profile. I start imagining a cooking tour of Tuscany with time set aside to visit with the sunflowers. Brings me contentment every time I think about it.
But I also am interested in what you are doing with art/underprivileged young people. I am in the process of finalizing a four part journaling teleclass I'll be teaching in October and have been inviting people to help promote that. But I am wondering if there might be a place to offer something like this as an avenue for the kids you are working with to discover their potential.

Hi Anita, from another Anita!

I just joined, and I'm still exploring the site. I was looking through the list of members, and I had to stop and say Hi! to another Anita! (and I just noticed that we are also both born under Cancer, too)

Like you, I have 2 children who I feel lucky to be sharing my world with.

I am interested in hearing more about your yoga trips -- I have been practicing yoga and learning how to meditate for about 3 years, and it certainly helps centre me as I move through my often stressful days.
