Over the past year, my client base changed. Why this happened, I am not quite sure, although I do know that I am enjoying the experience very much. The people attracted to my work today are alternative, integrative, and complementary health practitioners, or the "balancers", as I like to call them. To illustrate this point, I've just completed a piece for the Unified Health Journal. This time last year, this opporutnity was not on the radar screen. Heads up: If you are a fan of Dr. David Hawkin (Power Vs. Force), you may like to access a copy of the Summer issue of the Unified Heath Journal to read a rare gem of an interview. There is a link to the article in my blog.

I'm passionate about developing practical tools to help intuitive energy practitioners capture and explain energy impressions to themselves and others. This has been my driving force, and left to my own devices, I'd play in this arena from dawn to dusk. Luckily, I have some other interests such as music, travel and family to balance me out!

Lately, I'm drawn to educating myself on environmental issues. One of my favorite causes is Paul Hawken's "Wiser Earth". Another is the "Commission for Environmental Cooperation" or CEC. A comprehensive report called "North America 2030: An Environmental Outlook" is available on their website. If you are are into science-based facts and figures (aka: Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth"), then this is a great bit of reading for you. You might also enjoy Thomas Homer-Dixon's book "The Upside of Down".

Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl, Blessed Unrest by Paul Hawken, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, Chihuly by Donald Kuspin, Power vs. Force by David Hawkins, Wisdom Keepers: Meetings with Native American Spiritual Elders by Steve Wall and Harvey Arden; The Lost Salt Gift of Blood by Alistair MacLeod, The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams; The Last Leaf and the Gift of the Magi by O. Henry.
I also just finished a consciousness expanding book called “2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl” by Daniel Pinchbeck.

Coming from the shores of Cape Breton Island, NS, I love Celtic music. If you also enjoy this venue, I’d highly recommend the soothing sounds of Celtic Moon Internet radio out of Boston, MA.
If you are inclined to create our own music, as part of collaboration, check out The Hero’s Journey Project spearheaded by Doug Somers of Ontario, Canada. Doug's goal is “to have artists produce a group of pieces as a musical collection around a common mythic theme: The Hero's Journey".
Right now, I’m exploring the energy-shifting (inspiration, motivation, healing) qualities of 20-25 second snippets of musical energy.

The first book created was "Dance to the Beat of Your Own Heart". From this vantage point, the concept for "Minibites: Ideas to Snack On" took root. The content lent itself to an interactive workbook format, so I decided to run with it. Right now, I'm in the midst of writing a personal narrative about my intuitive energy work adventure, complete with all the ups, downs, ins, outs .. and humorous spaces in-between.

“Ready or not, here comes you life. Set yours in motion!” This has been my inspiration and motto for the last five years. I love the ready or not part because only a short while ago, I was immersed in the adrenaline-fueled high tech industry in Silicon Valley, California. Then, ready or not, I was on another career adventure, this time to San Diego to become a Life Coach. What’s next? After five years of research and "roll-up-your-sleeves" field work in the area of Life Purpose & Life Force (Qi) Energy, I'm writing a book about this area that will be available in Fall 2008.

I'm on the Earth to experience the JOY of being alive. On a day-to-day bases, my purpose in life expresses itself on the playing field of Life Purpose and Life Force (Qi) Energy (mind, body, emotion, dream and spirit). I love it!

This is a great question. I see my work in this world as a "catalyst for change" and an "active philosopher".
