I guess I already answered this above.

Helping people become aware of their own amazing unique potential and authentic power.
Creating great food, finding good books and movies, colour and interior design.

I have been involved in working with new migrants, both on a voluntary and a professional basis. Helping them settle in and find their place and grounding in a new country is very satisfactory. However, my philosophy is that we all have a home inside ourselves, and when you have that sacred and secure space inside you, you are at home anywhere. I am hoping to help people realise this, as they go through difficulties of adjusting. Also, I know many who live at their place of origin, but still feel unsettled. I hope they find their home inside.

Many, but The Alchemist and the books of poems by Neruda and Tagore are constantly perused, whenever I feel that I need an inspirational jolt.
These days I tend to read a lot of spiritual literature, and currently am reading A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle.

These questions are always difficult for me, as my taste is very ecclectic. At the moment, my CD player is playing Radiohead and my own compilation of 'ethnic' music, containins some Cuban, Roma, Middleeastern and African songs.Great for dancing! Radiohead is ponderous, and I never find them as depressing as everybody says. I actually think that they are deeply conscious people, and their music reflects that.

Movies are amongst my great passions, and I see many. So, picking one or two is a hard choice to make.
I enjoyed the movie I saw a few days ago Grow Your Own, a wonderful British drama about newcomers in a country, and the dynamic effect this has on both the immigrants and their hosts. It explores the strenght of human spirit in adversity, and the power of soil, seed and water to produce a miracle.

I am a sacred soul, a part of onenness that we all share. I aspire to fill my life with love and light, but acknowledge the dark as a part of great equilibrium and a constant teacher. I believe that dark moments are there to equip us better to inhabit the joy and share this gift we have been given. My faith in God is strong, but unaffiliated with any religion. The God I believe in is loving and benevolent, and I believe that our heaven is here. I often say that the marriage between our Father, the Sky, and our Mother, the Earth is the space in between, the space where we live. Our duty is to protect and nurture this sacred child.

I have many, but unfortunately my memory is not that great, and I would hate to misquote. Perhaps this is something to be added.

My name is Arijana ('j' is pronounced as 'y'), and am originally from Bosnia. I immigrated to New Zealand 11 years ago with my ex husband. I have a 10 year old daughter Leila, and have married again a year ago to a wonderful man, Simon.I am 35 years old, currently working part-time as a government employee, but have just resigned, as I want to pursue a private business venture. I am currently exploring the option of opening up a book/coffee/food/second hand shop. I practice meditation and am very interested in angel and colour therapy. I have a degree in Sociology, but am planning to retrain as a colour therapist.I also want to get involved in angel therapy, and have completed Doreen Virtue's Angel Therapy course through CD-ROM.

It is becoming more of the above, as I have been discovering my true purpose more intensely lately, and my true fire has been ignited.
